Girl power!

It is a funny thing that I noticed. When we have girls dominant class (that sounds quite powerful too, right?:-) boys feel more calm and pay more attention. Isn't it amazing?

Math

Big posters coloring helped us to remember the colors and practice the names in the speech which is super important. We did a few vocabulary games which kids loved, math "romashka" activity to connect visuals with numbers and of course some fun dance!!

Russian

New letter "Р" was quite a "nut to crack"! And I am very serious here. This is one I the hardest letters to pronounce for most bilingual kids. We did a few writing activities together with vocal and will be introducing a few more exercises to practice.

Reading time: Gusi-lebedi.

Parents Tip: Active listening!! When your child is speaking Russian (or trying to speak) - listen, smile, look at him/her. Let him/her understand and feel that you are are actively listening. Active listening is as good as talking! It will encourage your little one to talk more.
