Summer Fun

We hope you are enjoying sunny weekend as much as we do! And since we do not have a real long and lazy summer break at our 'school' we are trying to combine all, sun, summer, learning and fun!

Math

We spent most of the class time practicing simple additions (2+2, 3+4, etc.) by playing pre-designed games as well as working on the individual assignments. And all the way throughout the class we worked on vocabulary with the focus to memorize and correctly pronounce 5 key summer theme words of the day: shells, googles, ice cream, hat (panama), fins (lastu).

We finished the class by making our own sailing boats!!

Russian

Reading practice using the letters learnt АОУСМ (АУ-УА, МУМУ, МАМА, САМА, СОМ, etc) together with some fun activities to practice alphabet and "Know Your Face" vocabulary. 

We ended class outside playing soccer and enjoying the weather!

Tip For Parents

Being outside with your little ones use anything around you (sticks, shells, toys, snack) to play math games. Highlight "plus" and "minus" functions and let the kids practice building their own math samples. And all this ... po russki ;-)!!
