Happy-Sad Child
We are back from the mini-summer break and yesterday was a lot of fun!
The main goal for the class was to get the kids emotionally back to the learning environment as well as Russian language surroundings. We didn't focus too much on learning new letters at Russian class or new math practice. Instead we did a lot of activities to remember what we've learnt so far and finished with the "ice-cream" craft (shapes, size)
New vocabulary: emotions - грустный, счастливый . We were talking as well as drawing different things that make us happy or sad. Interesting is that the common pattern for happiness for most of our little learners is... ice cream!!!
Reading time was all about animals and with the parents help (:-)) we also managed to hear Russian alphabet song!!
With summer being finally here we will be now introducing summer-beach vocabulary. Each week we will have new 5 words to learn which also be a part of the print outs for parents to practice home.
