Crafts and Patterns

I love introducing patters to kids- this is like an "ice-cream" for our brains)) They help children learn sequencing and to make predictions which leads to mathematical skills, logic structure in algebra (when they get it at school), and to establishing order in life.

Math

We did a few patterns activities which let us also repeat colors, numbers and shapes. 

Savva was quick to recognize the patterns from the beginning which was pretty amazing for his age. Anton (big:-)), Maks, Deny and Taya all did great quickly getting the pattern sequence and finding right colors to complete the activities.

Russian

Story time with Samuil Marshak "Detki v Kletke" let us remember the names of some animals as well continue to develop good listening skills. We did a few activities for handwriting as well as memorizing letters AOУ and expanding vocabulary ("Face")
