Cheburaska Math on Saturday Class

There is a wonderful tradition here in Lehigh Valley area started by Val Malkovskaia years back - "Matreshki" meetings. Russian speaking families from all around meet every month with the only purpose - let the kids remember and practice Russian speech as well as revive and maintain Slavic traditions and culture.

We were thrilled and happy to have a joint class at "Matreshki" meeting this month.

Story Time with Svetlana Daniels was very engaging and fun, as always. Kids were active practicing reading through simple puzzles and interacting with the class guest - the Owl..

We then had another hero joining us all - Cheburaska and we continued with our Math Class

Shapes: oval

Numbers: 1-10 plus, simple addition and subtraction by counting Cheburashka's favorite foods.
